Processing Administrator

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Processing Administrator to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient processing of data, maintenance of quality systems, and adherence to local rules and regulations. This role will also involve general administrative duties, special projects, and collaboration with various business areas to drive business excellence.

We’re looking for someone who is detail‑oriented, reliable, and eager to learn. This is a great starter role for someone fresh out of high school or college who wants to build a career in operations, administration, or data processing.

The work is repetitive and accuracy‑focused. If you’re someone who likes structure, consistency, and getting things right the first time, you’ll do well here. There is lots of room to grow as you learn about our systems and take on more responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and process traffic violations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer rules and regulations
  • Maintain a working knowledge of local rules and regulations, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with established guidelines
  • Perform daily checks on systems to ensure optimal functionality and identify areas for improvement
  • Monitor service request workflow, including Fresh Desk Tickets, and assist with processing backlog and incoming requests
  • Collaborate with the team to create, maintain, validate, and communicate Knowledge Management Materials, including training documents, SOPs, checklists, job aids, and matrices
  • Assist in special assignments and projects as needed, including root cause analysis (RCA) creation and documentation
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe)
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and shipping arrangements as needed
  • Maintain strict confidentiality on all matters and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; degree-level education preferred
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role, with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe)
  • Ability to pass background checks and maintain a high level of business ethics
  • Capable of learning internal proprietary computer software applications, including Quickbase and SAP (or other ERP/MRP databases), Knowledge of similar applications is an asset
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Possess "soft skills" including personal effectiveness, creative problem-solving, and strategic thinking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
