Responsibility
• Responsible for the regional Network design, configuration, monitoring process documentation, and Operational support of APAC region.
• Point of contact for regional IT in network for assistance over the support ticketing system with regards to (primary) Network and Infrastructure related issues
• Provide the control, reliability, and performance of network as switches, routers, wireless AP and firewalls
• Monitor the overall integrity and security of the network architecture.
• Troubleshoot network-related issues in timely manner.
• Designing and implementing functional network infrastructure to include LAN, WAN, WIFI and network security.
• Assist on projects ensuring the transition from project to entity support, identifying operational support requirements for new systems/system changes, identify required resources for projects/change requests and ensure consistency in the way IT changes are executed
• Provide individual and group instruction, as needed, on the use of equipment, software and network features.
• Work closely with local /region-based IT and HQ functions to implement global initiatives.
• Work closely with local country-based IT functions to support, maintain, and enhance the regional IT Infrastructure.
• Manage and lead hardware, software, and network migration and upgrade efforts of varying size and complexity.
• Provide L3 technical support across all systems and core infrastructure with multiple Points of Presence that are geographically dispersed .
• Serves as a technical resource to both IT user experience and Core IT .
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in handling L1/L2/L3 networking issues across regional .
- Cisco CCNP or equivalent professional certification
- Knowledge and hands on experience on Cisco routers/switches/firewalls and network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, VLAN)
- Knowledge on multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches and network security devices
- Able to work independently with minimum guidance and monitoring.
- Team player with Strong service orientation
- Knowledge or experience in Cisco support such as Meraki, Cisco Umbellar, Cisco Prime and other Network essential products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English .
