IT Officer (Network)

Responsibility
- Responsible for Global IT Ticketing System for APAC offices . Primary focus on Network & Servers Infrastructure and daily IT support services.
- Support the regional office IT infrastructure for installing, configuring network hardware, such as routers, switches, WIFI AP, and firewalls.
- Monitoring network performance (Internet, VPN Tunnel, LAN and WAN) , system availability, and reliability. Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problems.
- Troubleshooting network connectivity issues and the ability to explain resolution to end user. Escalate to higher engineer (HQ) in support or to facilitate for the resolution. Most likely from different time zones, to solve network malfunctions or other IT related topics.
- To take charge and lead IT change request include integration, project, or ad hoc requirement, which includes integration of new acquisitions to the corporate IT systems and technologies.
- Participate in corporate IT projects and teamwork with both regional and HQ IT colleagues.
- Responsible for daily user support, computing setup, and helping end users that have localized network problems and all IT related services.
- Taking ownership in IT documentation and managing incident resolution for any IT services and network support matters according to our SLA from beginning to end.
- Carry out other technical related duties or ad hoc support that may be required.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer related. CCNA and CCNP is plus
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in handling direct user support, requirement collection and analyze.
- Cisco Product experienced (ASA, Cisco Meraki, Prime, Umbellar …)
- Knowledge and hands on experience on Cisco routers/switches/firewalls and network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, VLAN)
- Great knowledge in IT troubleshooting and customer service experience
- Deep relevant experience in handling L1/L2/L3 networking issues local and regional
- Able to communicate effectively in both oral and written aspects.
- Possesses analytical skills and works well in ticketing system environment while establish a good collaboration with end user.
- Able to work independently with minimum guidance and monitoring.
- Team player with Strong service orientation
- Knowledge in Network Infrastructure in IPSec VPN, MPLS, and SDWA . For AWS VPC is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all types of people at all levels of the organization when providing application support
- Documentation Experience (Network Diagram, IT Inventory, Planing..)
