Key Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day in-house support for the SAP B1 ERP system, ensuring system uptime, performance, and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP B1 modules (e.g., Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing).
•    Monitor and support data integration between SAP B1 and other business systems.
•    Assist in configuring, customizing, and fine-tuning SAP B1 to meet business requirements.
•    Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze system requirements and suggest improvements or enhancements.
•    Implement and test system customizations, enhancements, and third-party integrations.
•    Provide training to users across different departments on SAP B1 functionalities and best practices.
•    Act as the first point of contact for all user-related issues, including system queries, troubleshooting, and training needs.
•    Prepare and maintain training documentation and user guides.
•    Design, develop, and optimize SAP B1 reports, dashboards, and queries to support decision-making.
•    Assist with data migration and data integrity checks during system upgrades or new module implementations.
•    Support the implementation and rollout of new SAP B1 modules or system updates.
•    Participate in ERP-related projects, assisting with scope definition, project planning, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
•    Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, HR, Operations) to understand business needs and translate them into SAP B1 solutions.
•    Work with third-party vendors or consultants for specialized support and system enhancements.
•    Assist in managing system updates, patches, and version upgrades to ensure the system remains current and functional.
•    Participate in system testing, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing), before deploying new versions.
 

Qualification

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in ERP implementation, configuration, and support (preferably with platforms like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP server setup, database management, and system troubleshooting. Crystal reports and SQL Query Generator and B1 HANA DB
• ERP Systems Knowledge: In-depth understanding of SAP B1 and business processes and how they integrate with business functions. Familiar with server system landscape environments (Windows, Linux) and network infrastructure. SAP B1 integration methodologies
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues quickly. Ability to translate ERP functions into business functions or vice versa.
• Project Management: Experience in managing ERP projects, ensuring on-time delivery and successful deployment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with all levels and experience in proposal writing for system enhancement both Written/ spoken in English (Must)
• Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Desired Skills:

• Strong understanding of SAP B1 architecture and business processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of third-party applications that integrate with SAP B1 is a plus (e.g., CRM, BPM or other online digital platforms, etc.).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a keen eye for process optimization.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to train and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Knowledge of business processes in key areas like Finance, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Sales is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with other ERP systems or IT systems is a plus.
