Job Responsibility
- Maintenance on running series products, solve technical problems related to materials, issues from production line and quality issues from customers’ feedback and keep optimize the design;
- Coordinate with PM on pre-sales phase. Create concept drawings and function descriptions base on RFQ, visit customer site to further discuss and modify the proposal, do cost estimation for non-standard customization projects;
- In designing phase, create diagrams , part drawings and BOMs for full automatic machine, semi-automatic machine, fixture design;
- Create concepts and prototypes for complex systems in high precision metrology devices;
- Generate technical specification document according to product requirements;
- Cooperate with purchasing team to identify and select suppliers;
- Plan time schedule and control costs for the related electrical part of the devices;
- Follow international safety and governmental requirements, i.e. ISO;
- Define test criteria and procedures for test engineering and production;
- Work closely with Mechanical / Software Engineer and involved in cross country projects;
- Fulfill other tasks assigned by Line Manager.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor degree (Master preferred) in electrical/electronic engineering, favorably with relation to metrology.
- Vast understanding in power supply modules, electrical motors, motor controllers, safety modules, programmable logic controllers(PLC) and bus systems (EtherCat, Ethernet, Profibus)
- Basic knowledge of safety, EMC, EMI and governmental regulations, i.e. CE, UL.
- Proficiency in EPLAN.
- Existing experience (at least 2 years for bachelor degree) as electrical design engineer
- Ideally experience in the field of optical metrology.
- Capable of setting objectives, time plans aligning with project needs and then execute efficiently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work under time pressure
- With clear logic, good at analysis and solve problems, be innovative and welling to learn new things
- Has good cooperation ability, capable to work in cross function/culture environment and able to drive things forward.
- Workable English skill – both oral and written
