SUMMARY

 

The individual needs to have basic math skills and be familiar with a Lathe grinder.   Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Know basic machine maintenance and working in a manufacturing environment is required.  Must be able to perform quality checks.  Able to work independently and in a team environment.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

 

  • Prior experience in Manufacture gauge details from prints using a Lathe grinder.
  • The ability to read complex detailed assembly drawings and understand the function.
  • Must already know basic machine maintenance.
  • Know how to perform quality checks on finished details.
  • Be able to maintain clean work environment at all times.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Performs the required tasks safely and efficiently, following all safety rules to protect self and others.

Performs all other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or a GED.
  • The minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • High levels of basic manufacturing processes, prioritization, and excellent communicator.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented.
  • Must have necessary machinist tools that are required to perform the job.
  • Solid understanding and use of precision/non-precision instruments is a must.
  • Must possess strong basic math skills
  • US  Citizenship or Qualified U.S. Worker
