SAP Configuration Control Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
- Create Material Masters and Bill of Materials based upon released drawings and/or customer drawings.
- Maintain Material Masters and Bill of Materials based upon engineering changes.
- Utilize MRP in SAP to create planned orders to ensure all required materials are planned for production.
- Inform Production Management / MFG Process Engineer when shop routers are ready for creation.
- Submit costing sheets for Material Masters to Controlling.
- Create and update routers for outside process to subcontractors.
- Update excel job sheet with new order information and relevant changes in material status.
- Support Program Management, Production Management, and Production Planning with planning/scheduling of work orders and capacity requirement analysis as requested.
- Support Production Planning to convert planned orders into released work orders for production.
- Support Purchasing and Proposal Engineering in obtaining quotes for outside processes and materials as requested.
- Participate in cost reduction and lean process improvement projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- AA, AS, BA or BS in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field (preferred)
- At least 2-5 years experience in ERP software as inventory, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- At least 2-5 years experience with production scheduling and/or resource planning
- Experience with SAP® software (preferred)
- Experience with standard office software (MS Excel®, MS PowerPoint®, MS Outlook®)
- Strong customer and quality focus
- Strong cost awareness and focus on efficiency
- Process and team oriented
- Hard working, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
