Product Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Innovative Product Development: Drive product development as Product Manager of cutting-edge road safety solutions, coordinating and actively managing internal departments to drive progress in an interdisciplinary product team.
• Market Research and outreach: Conduct market research, stay abreast of new technologies such as noise pollution and others, visit local roadshows and industry events to gather insights and promote our solutions
• User-Centric Design: Conduct requirements analysis, create user stories, and develop detailed specifications to ensure our products meet user needs.
• Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from the idea and concept phases to lifecycle management and end-of-life (EOL) strategies.
• Timeline Management:  Establish and manage overall timeline, esp. when it comes to product launch, ensuring timely delivery of all milestones
• Business Case Creation: Develop and follow up on business cases to support product development and performance analysis, ensuring our solutions are both innovative and viable.
• Functional Specifications: Actively participate in crafting functional specifications, ensuring our products are designed to the highest standards.
• Sales Support: Assist the sales team during customer visits and market launches with demos, presentations, and more. Provide active support and training to equip sales teams for success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in product management, preferably within the road safety, civil security or technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of road safety issues and Vision Zero principles.
• Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.
