Your responsibilities:
- Active supporter and guiding leader in PD and Daily Management reviews
- Planning of Kaizen events and maintaining a Kaizen event funnel
- Kaizen event preparation, execution and sustainment of improvements
- Lead diagnosis of workflow and process impediments and other wastes throughout the business
- and provide experienced counsel on appropriate JBS methods to their optimization
- Evangelize on JBS mindset to foster improvement thinking, continouos learning and business acumen
- Improve JBS training and facilitation skills, develop schemes for and contribute to certified practitioner education
- Lead associate development in various JBS tools and kaizen leadership
- Provide formal and informal JBS training and coaching
- Evaluate and approve Associates for JBS certification
- Benchmark and incorporate standard methodologies from other Jenoptik locations
- Educate, communicate and excite the organization on JBS
- Working on the business system's tools and methods and improve the existing along the business requirementsand be able to develop new tools
Key qualification:
- BS or BA Degree in Business, Engineering or comparable required
- Appropriate practitioner experience in function/area supporting
- Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a "general manager's" point of view
- Ability to design, develop, and implement a JBS roadmap for an operating business
- Mastery of a variety of JBS tools
- Ability to champion JBS and develop and install standard methodologies
- Ability to work and influence all levels of the organization from Senior Leaders, Functional Leaders to projectmanagers and practitioners in all functional areas
- Ability to implement JBS Fundamentals and lean principles
- Excellent communication skills and developing skills to represent on various stages of management
- Ability to apply lean principles, think strategically and view the business from a general management standpoint
- Strong go-getter acumen, implementor, motor & consultant
- Very customer focused and high tolerance for ambiguity
- Independent worker, capable of operating in a fast-moving, constantly evolving environment
- Communication: Interpersonal skills that build productive relationships and influence others, both within the business and across organizations
