Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on semiconductor-related wafer fabrication equipment, using a variety of hand tools, meters, scopes, and diagnostic test equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility equipment, such as HVAC, plumbing, compressed air/gases, minor electrical, and security systems.
  • Interface with equipment manufacturers to source parts and quote service visits for repair.
  • Monitor and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on fabrication equipment; updating maintenance schedule and coordinating with suppliers as required.
  • Monitor and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on facilities equipment; updating maintenance schedule and coordinating with suppliers as required.
  • Plan, organize, and execute new equipment installs & upgrades for fabrication and facility.
  • Recommend equipment improvements to reduce downtime, increase capacity, and improve quality of product.
  • Review and maintain spares inventory to minimize downtime for repairs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure a safe & efficient facility for micro-optics fabrication

REQUIREMENTS:

  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent, higher-level education preferred.
  • Demonstrated work history for maintenance of fabrication and facility equipment; cleanroom related experience preferred
  • Displays a working knowledge of vacuum, RF, pneumatics, PLC, electronics, computers, robotics, calibration, process piping
  • Detail oriented, driven for excellence, demonstrate excellent workmanship
  • Ability to work both independently and collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including sufficient PC skills (MS Office) required for documentation and communication.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Qualified U.S. worker
