Quality Manager

  • Manage overall quality system (QMS) for JOS- Huntsville location
  • Update and maintain Quality System documentation to ISO standards.
  • Manage Quality audits (external) and qualification of suppliers.
  • Perform/manage internal audits to determine facility compliance to standards and policies.
  • Track and trend supplier on-time delivery and non-conformances required through the year.
  • Initiate projects and programs that promote continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
  • Certification of conformity and the authorization for the release of products produced.
  • Schedule calibrating and tests for line equipment.
  • Manage Quality Assurance (QA) best practices and procedures.
  • Work closely with customers’ quality representatives to meet the contract requirements for quality including inspection & test planning and data reporting.
  • Review of data from incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
  • Establish and maintain tracking systems to measure scrap rate and rework rate (yield).
  • Create and maintain organized inspection files.
  • Coordinate the investigation of any out-of-specification results and non-conforming material reports to determine root of cause and create an action plan.
  • Assessment and disposition of non-conforming material.
  • Provide support to the other JOSI facilities as needed.





  • 4-year engineering degree preferred.
  • Quality System Management experience in an ISO compliant Quality System.
  • At least 5 years experience in Quality Engineering.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Qualified U.S. Worker
