Product Manager

The Product Manager will be responsible for identifying our customers’ needs and the wider requirements that our products feature.  As Product Manager, you will be pivotal in defining what success looks like from inception to completion, interpreting business requirements into technical requirements and implementing them with departmental functions such as Research and Innovation, Project Management, Product Design and Software and Hardware teams to turn our vision into reality.

Core responsibilities

• Manage product strategy, developing a clear roadmap related to our ITS Market Solutions.
• Drive the development of video analytics platform and major development of artificial intelligence initiatives for traffic safety and civil security solutions.
• Define the product requirements, prioritise features, set strategic goals products and manage the product life cycle from conception to end-of-life.
• Monitor progress, track milestones, and manage roadmap risks.
• Strong interaction with sales and customers to understand needs and pain points related to traffic safety, civil security and smart city infrastructure.
• Coordinate and manage dependencies across different development streams and ensure smooth alignment of requirements and feature request from divisional teams.
• Ensure product quality by defining test cases and ensuring thorough testing of our equipment.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and customer needs related to video analytics and traffic safety.
• Ensure target orientation and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and sales to fulfil company goals.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
• Provide support for global market launches and product trials, tenders and customer visits.

Desired skills and experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience as a Product Manager / Owner.
• Understanding of artificial intelligence analytics, video analytics, ANPR, object detection, tracking and recognition.
• Experience in IOT market and technical sales.
• Familiarity with traffic safety regulations, road infrastructure, and transportation systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to motivate others, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Proficient in relevant tools and software for video processing and analytics.
• Ability to both challenge and inspire, working alongside multiple stakeholders, on a global level, to design and implement video analysis solutions.
• Understanding of waterfall project management and hands-on project delivery / management experience.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
