Job Description

As a Senior Business Intelligence Inhouse Consultant (m/f/d) for SAP BW, you will take on responsibility in exciting projects and work together with your colleagues to drive innovations for tomorrow. In addition to connecting systems to the Business Warehouse, you will be responsible for visualizing and evaluating data to generate business-relevant insights and present them in an appealing way.

Your tasks:

  • Conception and implementation of data models in SAP BW
  • Setup of reports (dashboards) in SAP Analytics Cloud for the areas of finance/accounting, sales, purchasing, and production
  • Analysis and maintenance of new BI requirements, including coordination of solution implementation
  • Liaison function between the departments, IT team, and external consultants
  • Independent execution of developments using the latest SAP BI/BW tools and current programming methods (e.g. ABAP OO, AMDP, CDS-View)
  • Further development of the BI application architecture
  • Implementation of interfaces to source systems

Your background:

  • A degree in (Business) Computer Science, Economics, or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in the Business Intelligence environment or experience in controlling with high IT affinity
  • Good knowledge of ABAP/OO and professional handling of Business Intelligence software
  • Experience with modeling and reporting in SAP BW or native modeling in SAP S/4 (CDS Views)
  • Business administration knowledge in the areas of finance/accounting, sales, purchasing, or production
  • Ability to drive topics forward, combined with an innovative spirit and solution-oriented approach
  • You enjoy working in a team and in an interface-intensive role in an international context
