Your Responsibilities

As a BI Expert IT (m/f/d), you will take on responsibility in exciting projects and work together with your colleagues on the innovations of tomorrow. In addition to connecting systems to the Business Warehouse, you will be responsible for visualizing and analyzing data to generate business‑relevant insights and present them in an appealing way. Become part of our team of experts who create modern BI solutions with passion and creativity.

  • Authorization management: Set up, maintain, and review user permissions in the BI environment. Ensure access rights are assigned according to company policies and regularly audited.
  • Ticket processing (Level 1 and 2): Receive, analyze, and process support tickets related to BI systems and authorizations. Provide quick first-level resolutions to typical user requests (Level 1) and handle more complex technical issues and root‑cause analyses (Level 2). Work closely with business departments to ensure efficient problem solving.
  • Design and implementation of data models in SAP BW
  • Development of reports (dashboards) in SAP Analytics Cloud for Finance/Controlling, Sales, Procurement, and Production
  • Analysis and support of new BI requirements, including coordination of solution implementation
  • Support in development using modern programming methods (e.g., ABAP OO, AMDP, CDS Views)
  • Support in the further development of the BI application architecture
  • Implementation of interfaces to source systems
  • Acting as a liaison between business departments, the IT team, and external consultants

Your Profile

  • Degree in (Business) Informatics, Economics, or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in the Business Intelligence environment or experience in Controlling with strong IT affinity is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of ABAP/ABAP‑OO and confident use of Business Intelligence software
  • Experience with modeling and reporting in SAP BW or native modeling in SAP S/4 (CDS Views) is a plus
  • Business knowledge in Finance/Controlling, Sales, Procurement, or Production is an advantage
  • Ability to drive topics forward, combined with innovative thinking and a solution-oriented working style
  • Enjoy working in a team and in an interface-intensive role within an international context
