Maintenance Support Technician (f/m/d) - Western Australia

The role in a nutshell:
The Perth Maintenance Support Technician role reporting to the Operations Manager in Western Australia, is responsible for the maintenance, repair and management of WA based equipment to ensure operational functionality.
You will ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques. Communicating directly with customer you will provide effective and timely support for the systems supplied to them by the organisation, test and assist with equipment certification, prepare accurate and timely reports, and take ownership of issues reported through to their resolution. There will be opportunity for you to identify and resolve product and process improvements, and you will be expected to follow all requirements for Work Health Safety and to implement required procedures in accordance with customer and legal requirements.
About you:
Living by our values of Open, Driving, and Confident, to succeed in this role, you will have electronic-based skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, strong diagnostic skills, with proven problem solving and analytical skills.
You bring to the table your sound IT / PC skills (MS Office skills, Windows) and ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment along with your strong customer service orientation. Ideally you have an aptitude in Electronics, with a broad knowledge in the use and support of a wide range of software and hardware technologies: wireless communications, CCTV and IP based systems. You have experience dealing with support cases / requests via email, phone or in person and most importantly, you are a team player with a positive attitude towards change and customer support.
